Anna Varella was born in Moscow in 1971. She studied at STROGONOF`S Academy of Applied Arts of Moscow in industrial design from 1990 to 1996 and graduated with honors. Since 1996, she lives and works in Limassol. From 1993 to 2008 she also worked as a portrait artist.

Her artworks are in personal collections in Cyprus and around the world. Two of her artworks were also used by WARNER BROTHERS STUDIOS in 2017, after she was asked for permission for their use in the opening sequence of the “SHRILL (2019)” TV show.
